Since the office was closed Thursday for new carpet (and today too....gong
show!) we went with Sister Salazar (we invited her to go with us
actually) to the Cleland wildlife park just outside of Adelaide
yesterday afternoon.
We saw kangaroos, wallabys, koalas, emus, Tasmanian devils, dingos, birds, etc. It was a beautiful day, with a beautiful view of the city. We even got to feed the kangaroos!
Here is a picture of the picture
of us holding a REAL LIFE KOALA. We paid $20 each to even get into the
park and $30 for the privilege to actually HOLD one! Well, Papa paid
and they let me get in the picture too. Sister Salazar had one done also and it
was fun. We figured it was a once in a life time experience, and it was! Papa had to wear that vest and we had to be very quiet and still around the koala. They got us into position and then used eucalyptus leaves to tickle under the koala's nose, which made him turn and look right at the camera. Totally cool.

I love reading your blog! It makes me feel like maybe Mitch and I could do a mission some day. I love readingn about the little details of your days, and the highs and lows. Miss and love you both.
