The Sisters Conference was held at the Mission Home Saturday noon to
2:00 pm with 32 in attendance physically, and Mt Gambier, Alice Springs,
Darwin, Mildura, and Port Pirie sisters in attendance by FaceTime or
phone. (welcome to the 90's Mr Banks!)
Sister Lucas conducted the meeting and after the opening song and prayer, the sister trainer leaders Sisters Lucas, Green, and Van Den Bron each spoke about unity. Sister Carter spoke on Confidence and President Carter spoke about Faith. Sister Graham in Alice Springs bore her testimony as did a companion at the Mildura MPC weekend. Sisters Lucas, Green, and Moss sang a hymn accompanied by President Carter on the guitar. All of the comments were inspiring and heartfelt.
The Spirit of the meeting was beyond wonderful and I adore these powerful, obedient, talented, testifying women! You could feel the love in the room as evidenced by the sniffing going on! They are beautiful inside and out and it is a blessing to be associated with these amazing disciples of Christ.
Sister Carter purchased girl colored dotted gift bags and we filled each with a container of pasta broccoli salad, a croissant, a drink, with a straw, napkin, and fork and attached to the outside was a beautiful quote by Sheri Dew. Sister Carter also made decorated cupcakes for dessert. The outlying areas went out to lunch.

The senior sisters were at the Carter's by 10:30 to finish the salad, dish it up in the containers, wrap the rolls, and help with last minute set up and clean up. Sister Carter often says she has "people" to do what needs doing and that she doesn't know what she will do at home without her "people."
It was a really good day!
