We were invited to tea (dinner) and Family Home Evening at Ben and
Kiowa's Monday night. Ben made garlic/butter/cream sauce with shrimp
over rice, a salad, and garlic toast for dinner, and we had a slightly
different version of pavlova for dessert. It was a 10!
After dinner, for family home evening, Kiowa had us all sing Hymn 232, HAVE I DONE ANY GOOD IN THE WORLD TODAY. We looked up and read aloud the scriptural references listed at the bottom of the page and discussed the wonderful daily efforts of family members and how we could all improve our 'doing good.'
Afterward we played some 'Minute To Win It' games as planned by their 9 1/2 year old son. It was great fun and we appreciate being invited!
I didn't remember to take pictures of the pavlova until it was 1/2 eaten.....sorry. But here's a picture of their family.
