The Bishop conducted Sacrament meeting this past Sunday and called
a young girl to come to the podium from the congregation. She was too
afraid so her dad went up with her to receive recognition for memorizing
the Articles of Faith. This little girl was no more than 3 years old
and we felt impressed and inspired to challenge our kids and grand kids
to memorize the Articles of Faith before we get home January 8th of 2015. I
understand that some of the Primary aged grand kids are already learning
and memorizing and that's great!
Pops and I will feel so happy and blessed if kids and parents make the effort we request. The
cool thing is that this knowledge will stay with us our entire life, so it is time well spent.
