Happy New Year! It's hard to believe its 2014 and that means we have
been serving for 6 months! This time next year, we'll be counting down
the days.
Along with the rest of the world we are evaluating the past year, deciding how and where we need to make changes for 2014, and setting some goals in those areas. I read that goals should be written down or else they are just wishes.
A long time tradition was broken this year! At our family Christmas gathering, we each write down 5 predictions on an index card and without showing them to anyone, and seal them in an envelope to be read the next Christmas. Last year we were working on the missionary applications, so predictions were all about WHERE we would be called to serve and we opened them just before we opened our mission call in March. You'll recall there were several Canada guesses as well as other places on the map, but Carter "won" by predicting it would be Australia. Who would have thunk?
We are well and happy and looking forward to continued learning and growth in 2014! And we wish you a Happy New Year ! Thanks for reading!
